Upcoming Event Horsepower Day 24th July, 10am - 4pm

Riding for the disabled is a non profit-organisation purely run on the kind hearted generosity
of volunteers. Participants who access RDA are give the opportunity to gain skills often taken for granted by everyday people , such as confidence, balance, co-ordination and body strength.
The riders are also given the opportunity to learn empathy for others, a sense of
camaraderie and the responsibility for caring for another creature.
For Richmond RDA to operate we need safe and secure premises that can accommodate all
different types of weather and conditions all of which require financial investment.
In order to achieve our goals we need to look at creative ways of fundraising and this has led
us to holding an event on Sunday 24th July at the Richmond Riding for Disabled on the WS
University Campus off Londonderry Road, Richmond and we have called it The Horsepower
Family Fun Day as it will consist of a mixture of Cars and Horses.
Bring the family down for a fun filled day of Classic Cars, Vintage Buses, Pony Rides, a Jumping Castle for the kids, giant slide and a variety of stalls for your shopping pleasure. Entry is by way of a gold coin donation. It's the cheapest day out in town!
